Saliva powers a MFC

Researchers in Saudi Arabia and the US say they have made a micron-sized microbial fuel cell containing multilayer graphene that works using saliva or other waste liquids. The device, which is capable of producing nearly 1 µW in power, could be used in some bioelectronics applications such as lab-on-a-chip and point-of-care diagnostics. It might even come in handy as an ovulation test and so help in family planning……….
