Semiconductor solder seals nanojoints

Compounds known as chalcogenidometallates might make ideal solders for joining pieces of semiconductors together, according to new experiments by researchers in Illinois in the US. The materials do not contaminate the semiconductors and so could be used to make clean electrical contacts when fabricating tiny transistors and printable electronics and optoelectronics…..
