On 22 May 2009, NSTDA in collaboration with Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) organized a joint symposium to share and explore research collaboration and academic opportunities among Thai and Japanese institutes. Sixteen NUT researchers met with NSTDA researcher to share knowledge and recent progress of their research in Biotechnology, Material Technology, Nano-technology, Mechanical Engineering and System Safety.

Representatives from leading Science &Technology universities in Thailand including Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Suranaree University of Technology and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi were invited to attend this symposium.
