All of them were the recipients of the ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women in 2014-2020. Dr. Nuttaporn Pimpha was the first recipient of the ASEAN-U.S. Science Prize for Women in 2014 for her dedication to research on water quality during the Thailand mega-flood of 2011.<br>The ASEAN Committee on Science and Technology (COST) and the U.S. Department of State, in partnership with UL (Underwriters Laboratories) has decided to join the ASEAN Committee of Science and Technology to strengthen ASEAN science and technical capacity through an ASEAN-U.S. Science Prize for Women. The prize supports ASEAN efforts to advance regional science and technology capacity in water management; it also aims to promote active collaboration and mutual assistance in technical and scientific fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nanotec.or.th\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/\u0e20\u0e32\u0e1e\u0e17\u0e35\u0e48-2-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nanotec.or.th\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/%E0%B8%A0%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%97%E0%B8%B5%E0%B9%88-2-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13406\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The 11th ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Week (ASTIW), The 79th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation: COSTI-79, The 11th Meeting of Informal ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science, Technology and Innovation: IAMMSTI-11, and other meetings now are being held during 14-17 June 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nanotec.or.th\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/\u0e20\u0e32\u0e1e\u0e17\u0e35\u0e48-3-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nanotec.or.th\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/%E0%B8%A0%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%97%E0%B8%B5%E0%B9%88-3-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13407\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>ASTIW is a flagship triennially event of the ASEAN Committee of Science, Technology and Innovation (COSTI) which started in 1986, as a regional gathering of stakeholders to exchange their knowledge and achievements in using science and technology for development and also for interaction to form collaboration and
