The obtained information and knowledge is of value to society, with impact in areas such as the environment, future technologies, health, and education.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, NANOTEC organized a NANO Talk on February 21 on Synchrotron Radiation: Its Application on Nanotechnology Research. The talk was given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Santi Maensiri (Khon Kaen University) and Assist. Prof. Dr. Rattikorn Yimnirun (Chiang Mai University).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSynchroton radiation has become a research tool of wide application. Physicists, chemists, biologists, geologists, engineers, material scientists, and other scientific discipiline use it as a structural probe for the study of surfaces, bulk material, crystals, and viruses\u201d said Prof. Santi<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot to mention solids, liquids and gases can be spectroscopically analyses by using synchrotron radiation\u201d said Prof. Rattikorn<\/p>\n<p>About NANO Talk:<\/p>\n<p>NANOTEC organize NANO Talk on regular bases.
