{"id":2311,"date":"2011-04-28T11:35:27","date_gmt":"2011-04-28T04:35:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nano2.toolsmkt.com\/?p=2311"},"modified":"2011-04-28T11:35:27","modified_gmt":"2011-04-28T04:35:27","slug":"czech-breakthrough-water-cleaning-method-has-world-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nanotec.or.th\/en\/czech-breakthrough-water-cleaning-method-has-world-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Czech Breakthrough Water Cleaning Method Has World Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scientists from the Nanotechnology Research Institute in Prague, Czechoslovakia, have developed a technology that cleans \u201cdead\u201d water and turns it into drinking water.\u00a0 <!--more-->The new method uses a 3-dimensional membrane to clean the water, which is sour, contains harmful toxins and lacks oxygen in its original state.\u00a0 Institute head Petr Carvan said, &#8220;From a total contaminate, which could hardly be called water, we&#8217;ve managed to produce drinking water without any additional elements, without bacteria, water that is silk, soft and re-mineralised.&#8221;\u00a0 The scientists are also able, on a client\u2019s request, to add minerals such as iodide, fluorine, magnesium, manganese and calcium to the cleaned water so that it is suitable to drink.\u00a0 According to Carvan, &#8220;We&#8217;ve scored world success with this technology,&#8221; adding that delegations from all over the world have come to Prague to see the unique prototype of this water treatment device.\u00a0 It can clean up to 10 cubic meters of water in 24 hours with 95 percent effectiveness, and is relatively cheap to operate.\u00a0 &#8220;The Vietnamese have turned to us already.
