Mientras en Brasil hay una incipiente pero creciente relaci\u00f3n  industria-academia, en M\u00e9xico a\u00fan falta establecer una red nacional  articulada.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed lo indica un informe sobre capacidad de innovaci\u00f3n y sistemas de  innovaci\u00f3n en energ\u00edas renovables y nanotecnolog\u00eda en Brasil, India,  China, Sud\u00e1frica y M\u00e9xico (BICSAM, por la inicial de sus nombres).<\/p>\n<p>Estos pa\u00edses en desarrollo representan a casi 40 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial y 27 por ciento del Producto Mundial Bruto.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de naciones que \u201cest\u00e1n totalmente embarcadas en una carrera por  alcanzar a las econom\u00edas basadas en el conocimiento, diversificando sus  sistemas de producci\u00f3n y su competitividad\u201d, dice el estudio del  Instituto Austriaco de Tecnolog\u00eda, realizado por Carlos Aguirre-Bastos.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de Brasil, desde que en 2001 el Consejo Nacional para el  Desarrollo Cient\u00edfico y Tecnol\u00f3gico (CNPq) convocara a la creaci\u00f3n de  redes de investigaci\u00f3n en nanotecnolog\u00eda, los proyectos en curso superan  el centenar, casi la totalidad de ellos asociados a universidades.<\/p>\n<p>Las \u00e1reas en las que se trabaja incluyen nanobiotecnolog\u00eda para  agronegocios, nanomateriales, sistemas nanoel\u00e9ctricos y  nanobiomagnetismo.<\/p>\n<p>En ese pa\u00eds, dice el informe, el Plan de Acci\u00f3n para Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda  e Innovaci\u00f3n (PACTI) 2007-2010 contempla la consolidaci\u00f3n de 10  laboratorios regionales de referencia y el apoyo a al menos 20 proyectos  anuales de investigaci\u00f3n cooperativa entre laboratorios y empresas,  adem\u00e1s de estudios t\u00e9cnicos y de postgrado para 100 nanoprofesionales al  a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrasil ha hecho de la nanotecnolog\u00eda una de sus prioridades  estrat\u00e9gicas, con una significativa inversi\u00f3n en esta \u00e1rea por parte del  gobierno.
