Green nanotechnology, the authors say, could lead to a revitalized and sustainable U.S. chemical and materials manufacturing base. The authors also stress that more interdisciplinary cooperation could lead to a better understanding of the potential risks of nanotechnology and the development of appropriate policies to address those concerns.
