On 21 August 2026, the National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), NSTDA, joined the panel discussion \u201cElevating Thai Herbs to the Global Stage: Integrating Thai Traditional Medicine Wisdom with Science, Technology and Innovation\u201d<\/strong> at the 1st National Thai Massage and Wellness Expo.<\/p>\n

The discussion explored how long-established Thai traditional medicine knowledge and herbal wisdom can move from \u201cbelief\u201d to \u201cconfidence\u201d<\/strong> through scientific evidence. Key topics included understanding the mechanisms of action of traditional medicine formulations, evaluating their efficacy and safety, and determining their suitability for different patient needs.<\/p>\n

The panel also highlighted the role of science, technology and modern knowledge as tools to validate and strengthen traditional medicine wisdom<\/strong>, rather than replace it.
