{"id":4233,"date":"2013-01-14T14:00:22","date_gmt":"2013-01-14T07:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nano2.toolsmkt.com\/?p=4233"},"modified":"2013-01-14T14:00:22","modified_gmt":"2013-01-14T07:00:22","slug":"nrct-recognize-thesis-from-nanotec-researcher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nanotec.or.th\/en\/nrct-recognize-thesis-from-nanotec-researcher\/","title":{"rendered":"NRCT recognize thesis from NANOTEC researcher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On January 14, the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) announced The National Research Council Awards 2012 in which Dr. Rawiwan Laocharoensuk from NANOTEC Nanomolecular Sensor Lab was one of the recipients for the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award. <!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Rawiwan thesis entitled \u201cSynthetic Metal Nanowires: Applications towards on-demand Reaction and Autonomous Motions\u201d shows that multifunctional nanowires offers limitless integrated properties and multiple surface functionalization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe focus of the research was on magnetic controlled electrocatalytic and bioelectrocatalytic reactions in biosensing systems, including electrocatalytic designs for power enhancement and magnetic manipulation of catalytic nanomotor\u201d said Dr. Rawiwan. \u201cThe ability to control chemical reactions will offer innovative prospects in greater area of biosensor and biomedical applications\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The award is given annually to promote research development and honor Thai researchers who work in scientific and social science fields. In 2012, a total of 77 awards were granted (10 awards for National Outstanding Researcher Awards, 28 Research Awards, and 39 Thesis Awards).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>The awards will be granted to the winners by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E.
