{"id":4651,"date":"2013-07-04T14:02:10","date_gmt":"2013-07-04T07:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nano2.toolsmkt.com\/?p=4651"},"modified":"2013-07-04T14:02:10","modified_gmt":"2013-07-04T07:02:10","slug":"trf-award-research-career-development-grant-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nanotec.or.th\/en\/trf-award-research-career-development-grant-2\/","title":{"rendered":"TRF award Research Career Development Grant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr.\u00a0Nattika Saengkrit of NANOTEC Nano Delivery System Lab (NDS)\u00a0was awarded the Thailand Research Foundation (TRF) Research Career Development Grant <!--more-->for\u00a0her\u00a0research project on \u201cDevelopment of ligand-targeted and surface-modified liposome for specific drug delivery to cervical cancer cell\u201d which is a collaboration\u00a0with\u00a0\u00a0Siriraj and EPFL in Switzerland.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCancer of the cervix is the second most common cancer in women worldwide, with about 500 000 new cases and 250 000 deaths each year\u201d said Dr. Nattika. \u201cThe\u00a0aim of this research is to prepare and investigate cytotoxicity of multifunctional cisplatin-loaded liposome against cervical cancer.
