Controlling electric dipoles to make stable organic transistors

Researchers at Stanford University in the US have come up with a new way to control the electrical characteristics of organic transistors – something that has been difficult to do in the past. The technique allows for devices that are more stable in air and could also help make better light-emitters and detectors and solar cells.
