Latin American Biomedical Nanotechnology Showcase

The ICPC-NanoNet project, which stimulates global networking in nanoscience and nanotechnology, is hosting an online showcase of Latin American biomedical nanotechnology on March 23, 2011 from 13:30-16:00 GMT. This showcase is designed to give nanoscientists working in this field a chance to meet and find out about each other’s expertise, infrastructure and research interests. The invited speakers include: Dr. Marcelo Kogan, Chile; Dr. Robson Augusto de Souza Santos, Brazil; and, Dr. Eder Romero, Argentina. The prospective audience consists of nanoscientists specializing in biomedical applications, from Europe and the International Cooperation Partner Countries (ICPC) to the European Union, who are interested in cooperating with Latin America. Registration is free, but is limited to the first 25 registrants. The full program and registration information can be viewed online at the link below.
