NANOTEC Joins ECO-Innovation Award Judging and Showcases Nanotechnology Innovations

On 11–12 February 2026, the National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), represented by Dr. Wiyong Kangwansupamonkonand Ms. Sansanee Huabsomboon, Deputy Executive Directors of NANOTEC, served as judges for the “ECO-Innovation Award” competition for Year 2025. They also provided strategic recommendations to enhance innovation capabilities and add value to community enterprises through nanotechnology.

During the event, NANOTEC also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NSTDA, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), and the Department of The Queen Sirikit Department of Sericulture to promote the use of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) in Thailand’s textile sector.

NANOTEC also showcased several research innovations, including nano-coated controlled-release fertilizers, nano-chelated fertilizers, biochar technology, a portable electrochemical sensor for heavy metal detection, and textile coating innovations designed to enhance product performance and value.
