NANOTEC and Siriraj Join Forces to Advance Nanomedicine from Research to Clinical Impact

The National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), NSTDA, and the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, have joined forces to advance nanomedicine through the Strategic Research Forum 2026, held as part of the seminar series “Nanomedicine: From Innovation to Clinical Impact — A NANOTEC–SIRIRAJ Collaboration.”

Held over eight sessions from 29 June to 21 September 2026, the seminar series brought together nanotechnology researchers, physicians and healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and identify opportunities to apply nanotechnology to real-world medical needs.

Topics covered targeted drug delivery, cancer treatment, nanomaterials and hydrogels, biosensors, microneedles, nanopore systems, zebrafish-based safety assessment, nanoencapsulation for transdermal drug delivery, antiviral drug development and applications of nanotechnology in regenerative medicine.

The collaboration aims to foster joint research, strengthen networks and advance promising technologies from the laboratory toward clinical testing and practical applications, supporting the development of Thailand’s nanomedicine ecosystem.
