A nitrogen-doped nanocomposite made from carbon nanotubes and graphene could make an efficient and inexpensive catalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) – a key chemical reaction that occurs in fuel cells. So say researchers at Case Western Reserve University in the US, who have found that the composite also works well in acidic PEM fuel cells – the most widely used type of fuel cell today………….
