Monitoring and Process Engineering Research Team (MAP)

Research and development of Monitoring and Process Engineering Research Team (MAP) aims to provide innovative solutions through the convergence thinking based on theories, applied physics, system engineering, process designs and prototyping challenges to serve the industrial requirement and their problem solving which needs to create and validate the demonstrated prototypes.

Our current research areas focus on:

(1) Design and fabrication the sensing device for QC flavor & fragrance compounds, VOCs and air monitoring system.
(2) Research and develop the data analytic processing including pattern recognition and analysis of algorithms for identification and quality evaluation in several industrial applications.
(3) The applied researches and industrial problem solving are balanced with basic researches and testing of materials properties. This combination makes possible successful cooperation with industry.

Current research projects

1. Development of smart air monitoring system for particulate matter PM2.5 sources identification
2. Patent licensing, e-Nose, CPRAM Company Limited.
