Efficient effective ways of producing graphene-polymer composites are key for uptake in the microelectronics and polymer industries. However, so far, many of the solvents used to produce graphene solutions are toxic and difficult to remove from the final polymer composite, affecting its final properties. Using an industrial dye, which is already widely employed in polymers, as the solvent removes the need to extract it at the end of the process. In addition, the dye’s properties and non-toxicity are already known, further reducing risks when incorporating the dye-graphene composite in industrial processes…..
