A press conference was recently held at the Ministry of Science and Technology by H.E. Dr. Plodprasop Suraswadi, Minister of Science and Technology to announce the National Science and Technology Development Agency Annual Conference 2012 (NAC 2012) which will be held from March 26-28 at Thailand Science Park. The theme of NAC 2012 is “S&T Knowledge: Key to Effective Disaster Response”. A Pre NAC 2012 Special Seminar on “Role of S&T for Natural Disaster Mitigation and Recovery” by Prof. Maki Kawai, Executive Director of RIKEN, Japan will be held on March 23 followed by a panel discussion on experiences learned from Thailand Mega-Flood 2011.
