The National Nanotechnology Center and Nanotechnology Association of Thailand will organized the first Micro-Nano 2011 Photo Contest.  The winners of the best micrograph image(s) will receive cash prize awards and certificate of recognitions at the Annual S&T Week in August 15, 2011 at BITEC, Bang Na. The deadline for photo submission is August 2. Bara Scientific Co.,Ltd is a key sponsor of this contest.

“This is the first time such a contest is being held in Thailand” said Dr. Sirasak Teparkum, Deputy Executive Director NANOTEC at a recent press briefing. “The contest will provide the public with an opportunity to see research projects from a different perspective – visual arts. “We are quite certain the contest will receive much interest from the local research community”.

Thai researchers (excluding NANOTEC researchers) are encouraged to log on NANOTEC website for full detail of the contest (www.nanotec.or.th).
