The National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), NSTDA, delivered a liquid feed supplement for laying hens to the Livestock Development Center under the Royal Initiative in Dan Sai District, Loei Province, to support the production of Omega-3-rich eggs.
Developed from fish oil by-products from the fish processing industry, the supplement is being evaluated for its potential to increase DHA levels in eggs and improve egg quality. The research is being carried out in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
The initiative demonstrates how nanotechnology can help translate research into practical solutions for agriculture and food production, with potential applications for local farmers and schools.
