Nanotechnology For Dummies

An all-new edition of the introductory guide on nanotechnology, “Nanotechnology for Dummies”, has been completely rewritten to cover nanotechnology basics plus recent advances in the field, and will be available this month. The book, by authors Earl Boysen and Nancy Muir Boysen, starts with an overview of the history of this emerging technology, then looks at applications in a variety of industries, the products currently available, and also explores various ethical issues involved in nanotechnology advances. Desiree Dudley and Christine Peterson of the Foresight Institute, in their foreward to the book, write, “Nanotechnology For Dummies, 2nd edition, guides the reader through a bright path of progress and possibility, on a road that will eventually lead to all that nanotechnology promises. This book also serves as an entrée into the basic concepts, achievements, problems, and prospects in this exciting field.” The book is published by Wiley Publishing and will be available from major book retailers.
