On 8 May 2026, the National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), NSTDA, organized “PhytoEX: Longevity Innovation in Action” at the Asia Longevity Economy Summit 2026 and Aging Innovation Expo 2026 at BITEC, Bangkok. The event brought together celebrity entrepreneurs, manufacturers and private-sector partners to explore opportunities for translating Thai herbal research and innovation into health and beauty products, supporting the growth of Thailand’s Longevity Economy.
PhytoEX is a NANOTEC initiative that transforms Thai herbal resources into high-value bioactive ingredients for health, beauty and longevity applications. Through research, advanced technologies and scientific testing, the program connects research capabilities with industry needs to accelerate product development and commercialization.
A key outcome of the event was the introduction of the Thailand Longevity Innovation Consortium, a proposed network connecting extract producers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), health and beauty brands, aesthetic medicine companies, celebrity entrepreneurs and research organizations. The consortium aims to strengthen collaboration across the innovation ecosystem, with a target of generating more than THB 1 billion in economic impact within one year of its establishment.
The event also featured the Epigenetic Aging Clock, a technology that analyzes DNA methylation to assess biological age, alongside four prototype cosmeceutical products developed using PhytoEX bioactive ingredients: Infinity Essence, Revitalize Cream, Celestial Sunscreen and Bioactive Hair Tonic.
Through PhytoEX, NANOTEC aims to connect Thai herbal research with industry and market opportunities, helping transform scientific knowledge into innovative products and strengthen Thailand’s competitiveness in the growing global Longevity Economy.
