H.E. Dr. Phiraphan Phalasuk, Minister of S&T opened the National S&T Fair 2013 yesterday at BITEC. The Fair will be open to the public fromAug 6-21. The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) will exhibit research projects under the theme “S&T for Social Impact”. The research showcase will be group under 5 categories: Food & Agriculture, Emerging Diseases, Economic & energy, Natural Disaster mitigation, Human Resource Development.

NANOTEC exhibition which is located in the NSTDA pavilion, will showcase the following research highlights: smart soil, slow release fertilizer, SOS water mobile purification unit, and multi functional nano fabric.

The fair is open to the public from 09:00 – 21:00 at BITEC, BangNa.
