Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, at a ceremony to display new Iranian nanotechnology products, that the country’s progress and achievements in the field of nanotechnology play a crucial role in boosting the morale and self-confidence of the country. “In the past, we would declare national celebration if we could gain one of these achievements. But achieving such successes has taken a whole generation throughout these years. But today, our researchers introduce a number of such achievements every year,” he said, pointing out that the faster a nation moves toward its scientific objectives, the more prosperity it will gain. President Ahmadinejad said the government supports the scientific progress of the country, saying, “The government will order the production of five samples of the devices displayed today (Monday), and the devices will be supplied to the research centers that lack such equipment. The government will also try to cover the nano drugs produced in the country by the health insurance, so both its producers and consumers could benefit from its advantages.”
