Nanoinformatics and Artificial Intelligence Research Team
The Nanoinformatics and Artificial Intelligence (NAI) research team develops custom AI solutions that integrate databases, advanced machine learning models, and user-friendly applications to address complex scientific challenges. Our interdisciplinary approach transforms data into actionable insights through systems adapted to users’ specific requirements while maintaining scientific rigor. By combining AI expertise with domain-specific knowledge, we create platforms that empower scientists and professionals to leverage artificial intelligence for specialized needs.
Our research currently explores two complementary areas that we believe hold significant promise for advancing AI applications. We are actively developing a peer-to-peer AI decentralized computing platform aimed at improving distributed AI processing while addressing data privacy concerns. Our ongoing work in multi-modal machine learning investigates methods for integrating diverse data types – from images and text to spectral signals – seeking to extract deeper insights than conventional single-modal approaches.

In healthcare, our AI systems support rapid screening for mild cognitive impairment and dementia, accelerated MRI techniques that preserve diagnostic quality while reducing acquisition time, and platforms for emerging disease detection through high-throughput AI-driven colorimetric analysis. Our agricultural innovations include egg quality assessment systems, rice variety classification using hyperspectral imaging, and analysis of crop nutrient deficiencies with fertilizer recommendations. Environmental initiatives include microplastic detection systems and the Thailand CCUS Alliance Platform supporting carbon neutrality goals, while our pharmaceutical work focuses on in silico nanotoxicity assessment investigating molecular mechanisms.
Beyond research and applications, we contribute to AI education through our Brain Code Camp workshop combining computational neuroscience with practical AI implementation. The NAI research team has expertise and proficiency in applying AI technologies to solve various problems and challenges, with experience in working with both public and private sector organizations, both domestically and internationally.
