NSTDA-NANOTEC Launches SME Q Up with Three Strategic Partners to Deliver Tailored Solutions for Thai SMEs

20 July 2026, Bangkok – The National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), officially launched SME Q Up, a new integrated platform designed to enhance testing, technical services, and innovation support for Thai small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Developed in collaboration with three strategic partners, the initiative delivers customized solutions that address the specific needs of businesses across the value chain.
SME Q Up adopts a demand-driven approach, combining NANOTEC’s advanced analytical capabilities and research expertise with the specialized services of its partners to help businesses improve product quality, safety, regulatory readiness, and market competitiveness. The program initially focuses on three industries: herbal and cosmetic products, food and dietary supplements, and pet and livestock products.
The three partners each contribute complementary expertise to strengthen the platform’s service ecosystem. Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. provides internationally recognized laboratory testing and quality assurance services; Morena Solutions Co., Ltd. contributes expertise in deep nano-biotechnology and product development for agriculture, animal health, and healthcare applications; while Visbio Co., Ltd. supports independent verification of product quality, active ingredients, and efficacy through science-based third-party evaluation.
By integrating research infrastructure, laboratory networks, and technical expertise, SME Q Up enables entrepreneurs to access tailored testing strategies, technical consultation, product development support, and scientific evidence required for product registration and market expansion. The initiative reflects NANOTEC’s commitment to transforming research capabilities into practical industrial solutions that strengthen Thailand’s innovation ecosystem and enhance the global competitiveness of Thai SMEs.
