VHIR-NSTDA Joint Research Meeting on Healthcare

1 July 2025 – National Nanotechnology center (NANOTEC) and National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), collaborated with Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), Spain hosted the first VHIR–NSTDA Joint Research Meeting on Healthcare, marking an exciting milestone in international collaboration.

The meeting opened with warm remarks from Dr. Deanpen Japrung (NANOTEC, NSTDA) and Dr. Eva Baldrich (VHIR), setting the stage for a day of knowledge exchange featuring 15 cutting-edge presentations from leading researchers in both countries. Topics included nanopore-based kidney disease screening, rapid diagnostics for infectious diseases, and drug discovery for malaria, to 3D tissue models, advanced drug delivery systems, and innovative vaccine platforms.

This meeting reflects a shared commitment to advancing healthcare solutions through scientific excellence, technology exchange, and cross-border collaboration.
