Lab2Market Boot Camp: Thailand

On July 27-30, the Technology Management Center (TMC) under NSTDA organized the annual Lab2Market Boot Camp. A total of 54 participants (Researchers, technology licensing practitioners, and business development staff) of the 4 research agencies under NSTDA attended the 3 days boot camp at Learning Resort, Pattaya (Thammasat University).

“The annual Lab to Market boot camp is an effective tool created to build awareness and further understanding of the problems surrounding creating commercialization opportunities and entrepreneurship for young upcoming researchers, technology transfer practitioners, and business development staff” said Songpathara Snidvongs, Facilitator and member of Mind Dojo. “In the case of Thailand, we do not have the problem of creativity however; our problem is innovation and the willingness to take risks for fear of being wrong. This boot camp focuses on the process of learning by doing”.

Participating NANOTEC researchers included:

  1. Kanittha Boonpavanitchakul (NanoHybrid Lab)
  2. Piyawan Bejrapha (Nanodelivery Lab)
  3. Chonlada Pokhum (NanoHybrid Lab)
  4. Satita  Tapaneeyakorn (Target Discovery Lab)
