NanoThailand 2012 – Highlights

On April 9-11, 2012, there will be the NanoThailand 2012 Conference at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel, Khon Kaen, Thailand. This conference is organized by the Nanotechnology Association of Thailand, the National Nanotechnology Center of Thailand, and the Integrated Nanotechnology Research Center of Khon Kaen University.

Seven excellent keynote speakers;

Prof. Shuit-Tong Lee, U of Hong Kong, China: Director of the Center of Super-Diamond and Advanced Films. He filed over 20 US patents and over 630 papers on Scopus.

Prof. Kenneth Dawson, University College Dublin, Ireland: An advisor to a number of governments and agencies in EU and the US on the health-related issues of nanoscience and nanomedicine.

Prof. Nico Voelcker, Flinders U, Australia: Leader research on artificial and biomimetic nanostructured materials.

Prof. Lau Shu Ping, Hong Kong Polytechnic U, China: The Top 1% Scientists in Materials Science in ISI Essential Science Indicators.

Prof. Rik Bryson, U of Leeds, UK: Excellent Researcher on nanoscale materials characterization.

Prof. Makoto Ogawa, Waseda U, Japan: Nano- and Meso-porous materials.

Prof. Shapour Mallakpour, Isfahan U of technology, I.R. Iran: Green technology for production of novel chiral bionanocomposite polymers.

In addition, there will also be 30 excellent invited-speakers from Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Taiwan, and UK.

Deadline for abstract: Feb 15, 2012
Deadline for manuscript submission: Feb 15, 2012
Notification of abstract acceptance: Feb 29, 2012
Notification of manuscript acceptance: April 30, 2012
Deadline for early registration: March 7, 2012

**Outstanding paper(s) will be selected for publication in the Chiang Mai Journal of Science (ISI Impact factor 0.340)
