SME and Research

“The 3 key components to helping SMEs are: Cost, Deliverability, and Quality” said Dr. Katiya Kraikarn (NANOTEC Executive Board member). “The problems with SME assistant program is that very often many government research agencies program are not align with the needs of SMEs, and it is not considered comprehensive program for total chain”.

Dr. Katiya went on to inform that for research activities with SME to have the possibility of high success we need to look at the following question:  does the research activity improve the processes of existing product of SMEs? By being able to analysis this question, you will be able to touch on the 3 key points: Cost, Deliverability, and Quality.

Dr. Katiya was invited to speak at NANO Talk session. The session was part of various activities running up to the  NANOTEC 10th Anniversary celebration which will take place on August 13.
