TTN begins a new phase in 2012

“The key to promoting public awareness in nanotechnology is the ability to build a multiplying effect” said Prof Sirirurg Songsivilai, NANOTEC Executive Director during the opening session of TTN Annual Meeting (July 27-30). “The Training for the Trainer in Nanotechnology (TTN) program has been a vital network to creating public awareness in nanotechnology development especially in secondary schools. I am certain the TTN members will use this meeting session to explore ways to increasing its effectiveness, increase new trainers, maintain the TTN community, expanding the TTN network, and promote knowledge sharing among the trainers”.
Since its conception in 2008, the network of the Training for the Trainer in Nanotechnology (TTN) program have completed setting up 4 TTN groups representing 4 region of the country (North, Northeast, Central, and South). The 4 TTN group comprise of 93 member team from 70 institutions such as high schools, universities, and research institutions nationwide.
