(29 มกราคม 2564) ดร.วรรณี ฉินศิริกุล ผศน. ได้รับเชิญจาก the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) ประเทศสิงคโปร์เพื่อร่วมบรรยายในหัวข้อ “Opportunities for Nanotechnology in Food and Food Packaging” ของ session 4: Challenges in Regulating Nanomaterials: Keeping pace with the science และร่วมอภิปราย แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นในช่วง Panel Discussion: Challenges and opportunities in use of nanomaterials in food สำหรับการประชุมออนไลน์ Food Toxicology Conference 2021: Opportunities and Challenges for Safe Use of Nanomaterials in Food ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 26-29 มกราคม 2564
งานประชุมดังกล่าวจัดโดย The Singapore Food Agency (SFA), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the Future Ready Food Safety Hub (FRESH) platform ประเทศสิงคโปร์ โดยการประชุมดังกล่าวได้เชิญผู้นำ/ผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับโลกจากภาครัฐ ภาคอุตสาหกรรมและสถาบันการศึกษา จากสหรัฐอเมริกา ยุโรป จีน และประเทศในอาเซียน หารือเกี่ยวกับงานวิจัยและพัฒนา กฎหมายและมาตรฐานต่างๆ เพื่อสร้างโอกาสความร่วมมือที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้วัสดุนาโนอย่างปลอดภัยทั้งในอาหารและบรรจุภัณฑ์
