On April 18, Dr. Daneil BENCZEDI, Vice President of Firmenich SA., Corporate R&D in Germany gave a special talk on “Flavour and Fragrance Delivery Technology”. The talk focused on the research activities at the Material Science Program for which Dr. Benczedi is the Vice President of the department.
“In this business, your nose is the most important part of the 5 senses” said Dr. Benczedi. “In addition, you must be able to analyze the needs of your specific clients to see which flavour and/or fragrance smells that suits their likings”. Dr. Benczedi also made comments to his effort to the art of ‘selling the science” of flavour and fragrance techn0logy not only to his external clients but also his management since his department also has to compete for research project fundings.
Dr. Benczedi will also participate as a keynote speaker at the “Workshop on Flavour and Fragrance Delivery technology for Cosmetic Industry” on April 19 at Siam City Hotel in Bangkok. The workshop is organized by the NanoCosme Lab, NANOTEC and is open to the public.
